Gaming on the Precipice

It is cramped in the hallway which slopes downward with a slight grade. The air is rank with mold and filth and there are groans, shrieks, and a dull grinding hum which fills your ears. The walls about you seem to vibrate as if a great machine churns maddeningly far below these halls with purposeful alien energies. You step forward into a cavernous expanse which your torchlight cannot fully illuminate. Ok everybody, roll a saving throw...
